After signing up for an account, you need to install WooCommerce onto your site. To do this simply click the button below and follow the instructions.
Step 3 — Add Products to your Store

Once you have some products, you can now start adding them to your store. Click the button below to add a product to your store.
Step 4 — Configure Categories & Tags
You will notice that after adding a product to your store, you will be presented with many options. One of these options is categories. You can choose to organize products by category. These categories help customers find what they want easier. All you have to do is click the link and select the category that you would like to organize your products under. After selecting a category, click save changes.
Next, lets talk about tags. Tags are different than categories because instead of categorizing products based on content, you categorize them based on their attributes. Attributes mean things such as color, size, price, and more. By assigning different tags to products, you can make it easier for visitors to find exactly what they are looking for.
Step 5 — Write Product Description
Next, you will want to write a short description for each item. A description is where your customer will learn about your product. Your descriptions should tell the customer what the product looks like and what its uses are. Writing descriptions can be time consuming, so make sure you take the necessary amount of time to describe your products well. Remember, customer’s read the first few words before making a decision to buy something!
Step 6 — Assign SKUs (Stock Keeping Units)
SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit. When you want to sell an item, such as a t-shirt, you give it a unique identifier called a stock keeping unit. This number helps you keep track of inventory and makes it much easier to manage your business. In WooCommerce, you assign a unique code to each product. So, if you were selling a t-shirt, the SKU could be 12345. However, when it comes to ordering, the SKU does not matter.
